Walking Bottom Car Park

Walking Bottom car park, just outside the village of Peaslake, is the biggest and most popular car park due to its location near the facilities in the village (pub, local shop selling the famous cheese straws and bike shop) and its location at the base of Pitch Hill giving access to all the best trails. It also has two trails that terminate in the car park for a blast back to the car at the end of a day of riding.

Be warned, you will need to get there before 9.30am on both Saturday and Sunday to be in with a chance of getting a space or come later from around 11 onwards when the early starts are starting to go home.

Note: please DON'T PARK in Peaslake village centre!

If Walking Bottom is full, there are plenty of other car parks nearby that you can use.

Other Car Parks

There are plenty of other car parks in the area which may be more convenient depending on where you are coming from and which areas you plan on riding.

The Surrey Hills Cycling Map has all the major car parks marked on it.
